I am tracing the architect C H E Blackmann of Blackmann and Parkes, who advertised tenders in SMH 14/10/1881 p2
‘TENDERS invited for first-class Villa Residence, Redmyre. Plans and specifications at the Offices of BLACKMANN and PARKES, 267, George-street’
As Blackmann was Vice President of the German Club in 1884 when W von de Heyde was President I was hoping there was a link.
Anyone have any more information?
